Appearance/Description: Clear, colourless or very slightly yellow, practically odorless, oily liquid.
Solubility: Practically insoluble in water, miscible with ethanol (96%), alcohol, ether and with other usual organic solvents.

Identification B (By Refractive index, 20±0.5°C): 1.500-1.505
Identification (By IR): IR spectra of the sample should be concomitant with IR spectra of standard.
Identification D (By TLC): The principal spot in the chromatogram obtained with the test solution is similar in position and size to the principal spot in the chromatogram obtained with the reference solution.
Identification E (By Chemical test): The solution becomes yellow or brownish-yellow and shows green fluorescence.
