Mr.Girish Maheshwari is Founder and Chairman of Finar Limited. Under his leadership the company has achieved a fast paced growth to become one of the leading brands in Laboratory Chemicals and Pharma Excipients segment.
Mr.Girish Maheshwari is a Science graduate having over 36 yearsof experience and in depth knowledge of fine chemicals industry. Prior to founding Finar, Mr. Maheshwari established independent trading in bulk, imported, Fine and Laboratory Chemicals. He is credited to have managed for over 20 years an organisation which delighted customers with just in time delivery, in an era where technology was not so proven.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Mr. Maheshwari has established Finar Foundation. This attempt is focused on making a positive contribution to those communities who necessitate support on Environment, Education, Safety and Health front.
Mr. Amit Maheshwari has been with Finar since its inception in 1998 and is part of the promoter team. He has been instrumental in developing the Pharmaceutical business and filing of the DMFs with the US FDA for the Excipients range of products. He has also lead a team of professionals for SAP implementation in the company towards achieving operational efficiency & optimal resource utilization.
Mr. Maheshwari assumed the responsibility as Managing Director in March 2015. His focus has been on organisational growth and manpower development through training and mentoring for employees enabling them to enhance their skills, competencies, and techniques to face market challenges in a competitive environment.
He holds a Management degree in International Business from the Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
Sunil Punjabi is Actylis’ President of Asia Pacific. He joined the company in February 2022 and is based in Bangalore & Ahmedabad, India. Sunil is responsible for expanding Actylis’ sales presence in the Asia Pacific region. He has previously worked for Merck KGaA in India, where he was most recently the Managing Director of Merck Life Sciences and Merck Country Speaker. Sunil brings over 30 years of experience in the Life Science industry predominantly with Merck KGaA and Sigma Aldrich where he held a number of positions of increasing responsibilities in Asia in the sales, marketing and operations departments, including 2 years as Managing Director of Sigma Aldrich South-East Asia based in Singapore.
Sunil earned a Master in Biophysics from Panjab University and an MBA from IIT Bombay & Washington University in St Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Bishwajeet Roy has been instrumental in building a team of professionals to improve efficiency and effectiveness in Sales and Marketing, Customer interactions and Supply chain. He is responsible for the total topline and further growth of the company.
Mr. Roy has over three decades of experience in the fine chemicals industry. Previously, he has served as Executive Director, ThermoFisher Scientific and was also the head of Glaxo's Lab Chemicals division.
Mr. Roy is post graduate in Chemistry and an MBA with an advanced course in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is a life member of the Administrative Staff College, Hyderabad.
Mr. Prantik Mukhopadhyay has a career spanning over three decades with established brands across the specialty chemical and health care industries. Mr. Mukhopadhyay leads all the business verticals of Finar viz. Lab Chemicals, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Aquaculture, Food Ingredients, and Specialty products. He will also lead all upcoming new business opportunities in the organisation.
In his previous roles, Mr. Mukhopadhyay was Vice President of Avantor and Director of the Lab Business at Merck.
Mr. Mukhopadhyay holds a master's degree in Bio-Chemistry & an MBA in Marketing. He has attended an International Management Program in Germany and a Certificate Course program on the Strategic Planning process in Singapore. He is also certified under NLP and has done a Cross-cultural business management program.
Mr. Mayank Shah has a vast experience of over 30 years in Fine Chemicals supply chain operations. Through his sheer dedication, commitment and expertise the total plant operations of Finar have achieved high industry recognition of inventory availability and quality products.
Mr. Shah has overseen the success of the shop floor level’s delivery of goods, the optimization of logistics across the country and the availability of products at the right time at the right place. His leadership in Supply Chain has immensely contributed to the growth of the organisation. He believes in maintaining a personal touch with all benefactors of the company and also ensures safe and efficient supply chain activities through a well-trained team.
Mr. Arpit Butala has over 15 years of extensive experience in budget control, compliance, taxation, internal control, fund management, and establishing new financial strategies. Previously Mr. Butala worked with organisations like Envigo, OTIS Elevator Company, and Shell India Markets.
Mr. Butala has completed his B.Sc from Gujarat University and is Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Mr. Rajkumar Gupta comes with 24 years of rich experience leading Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemicals, and FMCG companies. He has worked with well-reputed global and Indian brands including Pfizer, Ranbaxy, Dabur, JK, Sequent and Alchem. Mr. Gupta has held different positions in Analytical R&D, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Global Stability, Global Tech-transfer, and CMC regulatory affairs. He has shown expertise in handling NCE and ANDA projects both API and formulation and has successfully submitted multiple NDA, ANDA & DMF. He is responsible for the overall Quality, Regulatory and Technical services for Finar.
Mr. Gupta holds a Masters in Analytical Chemistry.
Mr. Dilip Khairnar is the Sales Head for the Pharma excipient business. He has more than 20 years of experience in selling Fine Chemicals to research organisations, industries, and educational institutions.
Before joining Finar, Mr. Khairnar has worked with ThermoFisher Scientific and in Glaxo's Lab chemicals division.
Mr. Khairnar is a graduate in Science from Mumbai University. He has also attended the Management certificate course at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Mr. KVS Hanuman is the Sales Head - Lab Business for Finar India. He has more than 20 years of experience in selling Fine Chemicals to research organisations, industries, and educational institutions.
Before joining Finar, Mr. Hanuman has worked with ThermoFisher Scientific and in Glaxo's Lab chemicals division.
Mr. Hanuman is a graduate in Science from Nagarjuna University.
Mr. Ranjan De Mazumdar is responsible for Lab Business sales in North East region. He possesses a rich working experience of around 28 years in the Life Sciences sector including Laboratory Chemicals, Chromatography, Clinical Diagnostics, Specialty Chemicals & Lab instruments.
Previously, Mr. Mazumdar served with Merck Millipore as Sales Head (North).
Mr. Ranjan De Mazumdar holds a Bachelor degree in Biology. He has attended Certification program at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad & Bangalore, and has also done a Certificate Course of Management and Research at S.P. Jain, Mumbai.
Mr. Yeshwant Samant is an Industry veteran with over 40 years of experience in Pharmaceutical intermediate & Chemicals manufacturing. He has the credit of developing processes for over 270 products which have an application in Pharmaceuticals, Refinery, Cosmetics, Defense and Chemical Industries.
At Finar he is responsible for quality assurance, manufacturing and R&D operations. He also devotes his time to stay updated on the latest in the industry through reading of technical journals and research papers and interacting with technical experts.
Prior to joining Finar, he served as a consultant to ThermoFisher Scientific mentoring the manufacturing & QA/QC team and also as Senior Manager in Glaxo Smithkline's Lab Chemicals division for 35 years and was responsible for manufacturing and quality management system.
Mr. Ravinder Tanwar has more than 20 years of experience in fine chemicals industry, Lab engineering and renewable energy and has worked with Glaxo, Ranbaxy, RFCL, GDPL and WEBSOL. At Finar he contributes to Business Development of the Lab Business.
He obtained his Master’s Degree in Chemistry from IIT Delhi, MBA in Marketing from IGNOU and also attended management programs at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kolkata. He is also ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 qualified lead auditor. He has delivered number of presentations in number of national and international Seminars and conferences on renewable energy, Lab engineering and Fine Chemicals.
